Lambda sensor - 09/08/2018 04:27

Greetings, since finding lambda sensor for 2.0 16v N/A is mission impossible, would it fit from similar Fiat cars of the same era, like Tipo,Bravo,Punto and similar with engines 1.1-1.8? I did find some lamdas that may fit on local spare parts website, but in compatibility list, besides Coupe they also listed tons of different brands and cars so I am not sure would it work.

I bought this one from eBay like Adam suggests - seems to be working fine at least from the startrek output(s)

thanks for the links, I did found them on ebay, but instead of ordering from there, I was wondering would it work if I bought one for lets say tipo 1.6 in my local mechanics shop.

ePer shows two part numbers before and after a change in May 1995 described as "ADOPTED SLIDE CONNECTION INSTEAD OF MULTIPLE REMOTE CONTROLSWITCH MINITIMER"

It looks as though the "old" connector was a small rectangular 2 pin shape with an extra single pin round connector, and it was changed to a single rounded rectangular 3 pin connector, so make sure you get the correct type.

OE part numbers are 7619303 before the change and 7785973 after, use these to find the part, cost around £20-25 and upwards it seems.

PS: get one with the correct connector, don't get the "universal" type where you have make the connector up yourself, or try to join the wires into the existing cables, the wire from the lambda sensor are very tough to cut and solder.
