Injector light on when taking foot off the clutch

Had a issue with the injector light. Connected startrek and managed to find a spare throttle valve sensor.

Changed it last night no problems.

This morning as I pull away the ABS light comes on and the injector light aswell making the car go up and down in the revs.

So put her in neutral and problem disappears. I tu again, first gear and as soon As I start taking my foot off the clutch injector light again and reving up and down.

In neutral the car is great 900 rpm no injector light everything demes Ok.

Any ideas?

Did startrek identify the initial fault as the TPS?

What does it say now?

Yep first error was the TPS. Checked again and the TPS appears in red again.

The rest is OK.

Are you sure the ABS light is not just the brake fluid level light, will come on under sharp acceleration/braking/cornering if the level is low. And maybe the spare TPS is also faulty or perhaps more likely, the wiring/connector to the TPS is faulty, bad earth perhaps?

For the ABS light not possible to come on the conditions you mention has I cant pull aways and get her into first gear.

Ill give it a check on the earth of the TPS. Could be possible that its also faulty they are very expensive so have to be sure before buying a new one.

If the ABS light comes on as soon as you start moving then probably a dodgy wheel sensor, if ABS light comes on as you release the clutch and revs drop but before you start moving then could be dodgy alternator or battery causing voltage drop, as that will also cause an ABS warning light.

Would it have anything to do with the injector light and reving up and down?

Maybe, but I don't know enough about the 16v ECU and why it lights the injector light to be sure.

Sounds like a lot of things are lying to the ECU - are all the earths intact?

Have to get them all checked.

Water getting in to the ecu? That would cause havoc.

Is it dry etc?

Hahahah I will never ver rid of her! If I cant find the issue it will go staright into my living room hahahah.

Ill get to it on the weekend, but were can I find wire diagrams as I do no know were all the earth connections are.

Bad news... the wiring diagrams for the 16v don't include the loom locations like the 20v, which is a shame. What you find in the member's tech manuals is all we've got.

Soy ideas were to start?

I have checked the earth on the gearbox and its ok.

Aún one with 16vt knows were to keep looking?
Could a dead battery also cause this issue?

As I have the battery in the boot, I took it out. Cleaned both terminals actaully cleaned all of them.

Went through all the wrinig, cut out the rusted areas.

Checked the TPS position moved around and looks like she is running with no issues.

I hope it das only that.

Ill get back if she dies again.
