20VT wont start flashing injector light

Bought this 20vt and its been off the road 9 years Took the battery out of it to charge put in back in and it started after 10 seconds The oil pressure is great and i turned it out because i left a ratchet on the end that was bouncing up and down . Went to start it again and no start . The injector light wont go off when the ignition is on and when turning over the is flashing . The fuel pump is working but no spark and turning over freelyand i switched the laserline alarm off I had Barnicles star trek but cant find it now Any ideas ???

Always a good start; see what the ECU thinks the problem might be. One possibility is that the eprom on the ECU has aged... On the 16, the integrity of the ECU code is the first thing checked and I don't see why the 20 wouldn't do the same thing.

Ok not to good on computers tried your startrek and gave up . I think i was also using the wrong lead you supplied me about 8 years ago as i have about 10 leads . I paid for multiecuscan back in 2010 and they gave me a new key this morning . I got it working this morning although i was late but happy Dreaded cam phase sensor So new timing belt kit and sensor on oreder .
