16vt throttle cable

The inner cable has broke on a pals 16 vt and he can't find one in France.

Any info is much appreciated. Is there a replacement made by someone other than Fiat?

Is it possible to thread in a new one as per the bonnet release cable Joe?

Yes it is Simon. There are 3 "how too "also but they seem to be saying that all three are for the 20vt.
Are they the same for all models? I'm thinking no?

They're not the same between the 20 and the 16, though I *think* both 16 variants are the same. They're a bit weird and wonderful, with a tensioner inline.

Found this one on the bay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Coupe-16V-Accelerator-Cable-RHD-46441696/292306328493 - but I suspect the routing may be an issue with a left hand drive car; could be a slightly shorter cable. He might have to get creative with a cable inner...

Actually having had a look at my spare it's a lot more involved threading through an inner than on a bonnet cable - and the one that Neil has linked to is definitely different to the 20v
