Oil pressure tester

Hi guys

I’ve become paranoid over the oil pressure on my 16vt which I guess is all part of the coupe experience! I’ve got an external gauge to connect up but I’m unsure where it hooks up to. Could someone point me in the right direction?

on the 16vt there are connections for the oil pressure gauge sensor and oil pressure light sensor on the oil filter housing.

Unscrew one of them temporarily and fit the connection to your mechanical external gauge in its place.

Thanks very much for the response. I’m totally new to this, are we talking this connection by the base of the dipstick? Looking at the workshop manual has only confused me further haha. Cheers!

Yep; the switch is the thing on the top with the two wires going to it; the pressure sensor is off to the right of it, under the apex of the kink in the wire.
