strange noise - 28/10/2019 14:03
Hello.
I ask for some advice about a problem.
My coupe makes a noise that comes from the front wheel (belt side).
The sound is a dull, vibrant sound.
Not sharp.
I could not identify the noise as metallic or not.
It almost seems like a sound of metal-hardened rubber, I don't know.
I know it's difficult to help me out, maybe there's something, some support on that side that could make this noise.
Works previously carried out;
Replacing shock absorbers (coilover) + dome support (bravo).
4 Spacers (2cm per wheel).
Last year various bushing elements have been changed etc.
But I'm not sure which ones.
The car emits noise especially when it comes out in reverse and after normal walking (low speeds).
No noise can be heard on the bumps / holes.
The factor that amazes me is that after about 10 minutes of driving as soon as the car is a bit warm the noise vanishes.
Already tried to grease the stem of the shock absorber and the springs, no result.
I cannot identify the exact origin.
Thanks.
