Rust prevention - 07/11/2019 19:23
I expect this has been covered before but perhaps new methods / products have appeared.
I intend to take my coupe in for professional rust prevention work to the underside of the car. Experiences of methods/ products and providers will be appreciated. Thank you.

Have a look at POR15. I believe its a product from the USA. I have used it on small parts before, but I think that it can be used to spray the underside too. Just note that it is not UV resistant so if there is any areas that are exposed they need to be painted over.

Agree with french coupe, good stuff. After you have chosen what you are going to use,I have used truck bed liner for a final finish, this stuff is as tough as old boots, I've used it over sumps before & not a mark after a long time.

We used various Bilt Hamber products on the Cinq. Also using it on the Coupe restoration.
They go wild over that stuff on the Fiat Forum.
Made in the UK too
