Removal black brake clips / straps on rear axel

Hi,

I am removing the rear subframe for maintenance, rust prevention and an improved strut brace.

Question. How do I remove the plastic clips / straps attaching the break lines to the subframe? I need to unlock them for removal. And preferably remove the black plastic strap before painting.

If the straps have to be broken: what did you use as replacement?

I'm doing similar at the moment. My thoughts were to use large (wide) good quality cable ties

At the moment there is a distance between the brake line and the axel. That will have a reason.

If the originals break, I am thinking about combining these:

The diameter of the brake line is 6mm.

Yes I understand. A "standoff" between the brake lines and the mounting or subframe. I think I will use the type of cable ties you link to and a plastic or hard rubber material as the standoff - (likely something I've got left over in the workshop)
