Trial and error i'm afraid, they are so cheap buy a few sets and see what looks best. Generally the multiple surface mounted ones tend to be brighter.

Quad LEDs from Halfrauds. They do the job perfectly.

Most of those seem to say they are not road legal. Are they MOT fails?

I think they all say they're not road legal, but I've never had my MOT failed because of them and they've been on there a good few years now.

They're ok for mot providing that more than 50% of the leds have not failed. I read this somewhere but cant remember where.
