Took delivery of a set from Classic today. First one installed after some messing around, removing the retaining spring to fit over the heat sink / barrel, but it does not light up. Any experience with this?

I fitted same from same retailer. They work perfectly. Agree retaining clip a bit fiddly, had to take it off completely and refit it with a pair of long nosed pliers.
Assuming the LED is connected to its power supply securely using the connector locking ring, and the power supply is fed with 12v, the LEDs must light. Use a multimeter to check for the voltage. If all ok, then the LEDs or power supply must be faulty.
