Careful where you mount it Ross, one of the fastest growing car crimes is the scum pinching Sat Nav units.
Im sure they are so dim they couldnt tell the difference between Sat Nav and a boost controller.
I'd hide it out of view.

the nice thing about the air vent position is that ergonomically it's a good spot. it's close to your hand on the wheel and not too far from your normal field of vision to act as a boost gauge.
btw, thanks JimO for sorting out the holders, i got hold of an unwanted one from the GB.

Mine fits perfect in the clock position on a 16VT, this part of the console is seprate so maybe you could see carlt and do a little mod to the 20VT console, will put up picks if you want to see it.

Cant take any of the credit for the fitting this was done by previous owner ROSSO, however it is a very good position for changing from low to high boost and I also use this as a boost gauge.
