16" Dare V2 Pics - 27/03/2008 03:16

Hi,

Does anyone know of a coupe with 16" Dare V2's or similar?

If so do you have any links to any pics?

I've seen plenty with 17" versions, but considering the 16" ones instead.

Cheers

Scott

warnysouth i dont think 16" would fit, for 17" you need a 20mm spacer i think, or was it 25mm, so im assuming with the smaller size you would have to bring it out further with a bigger spacer. 17" fit ok so ive been told by performancealloys just need a spacer and spigot rings (not sure if thats right name) and wobbly bolts, then 18" would fit easier i think aswell.

Warnysouth,

I have similar wheels in 17". I needed wobbly bolts and spiggot rings. I personally think 16"s will look a bit small as I think my 17"'s sometimes look small as it is..

I would go for the same 17" or 18", here are the pics of the yellow coop with 18" ones

And as Tartandude has stated he has the 17" version which i think look just as good, bigger than standard alloys which look slightly to small unless if you lower the car.

Yes I know what you're saying but I dont want the ride to get any harder, so was thinking 16".

Maybe better to stick to standard ones then.

I dont think the ride would be any harder just by getting 17" dare v2s, they look nice as you can see on Tartandudes car, he may have his lowered but i dont think its lowered by to much. I used to have these alloys on an old car of mine and really liked them, and im tempted to get some more for my coupe.

Mine is lowered 30mm with eibach springs and Bilstein/Koni Shocks..

The ride is definetely a lot firmer than before, great for handling but not so good for comfort. Recently had to drive about 80 miles with my mate who had a broken rib, every big bump in the road... ooooh. Doesnt' help that the tyres I have one the car at the moment are very low profile I guess

Anyway, Warny at the end of the day its up to you, good luck! ;\)
