Re: Black Fiat Badges - 30/10/2009 09:08

It does certainly look mean laugh

Makes such a big difference having new badges that I am surprised more people do not do it. Especially when they are only a fiver or so (except the pininfarina ones which were £30 something frown ). When I had my restoration, new badges all round and got them lacquered in an attempt to keep them blue for a little while longer.

Taff, could you post some pics with the red badges on the car? it's tempting to get some for myself...

Re: Black Fiat Badges - 30/10/2009 12:33

Well, good to see that many people liked it, thanks for the comments smile

I also bought the red one (just in case) but not fitted to the car

If I have fitted the red one, it would catch every eye behind me in streets laugh

FWIW the red one goes a bit pinky over time.

Very nice... And very clean car in general...
I sprayed my side badges on my silver coop to match the wheels fuel filler cap and grill...

Very nice Hani.

Looks so good that it makes me think Fiat should have done that in the first place- black badges on black coops, red badges on red coops, yellow badges on yellow coops etc etc etc.

Is that a PIU bumper you have on Hani? any more pics of the front of your Coupe?

I agree with you, I didn't like the blue badge on a black car crazy . However, the blue badge is a legend of Fiat and we should understand why Fiat did this.

As for the bumper, it is PIU bumper and here are some additional pictures:

Thanks mate smile . I'll b glad to do it but I got th badge from UK. Sparying and sending back to UK will be costly and will not be feasible. It's so easy, somone from UK shall take a step and do it in bulk according to interest.

Re: Black Fiat Badges - 01/12/2009 23:15

I have been trying to find out whether there are any holes behind the rear FIAT badge?
I want to debadge the back but can't be bothered with the fuss of filling and repainting the panel.
