Boost gauge question...again

Boost gauge question...again - 29/06/2006 23:48

Hi all

its really important to me that i get a boost gauge which is a match to the origonal dials... amy help?

I have an Le which has the black faces and glow amber, have looked through other threads with regards to position but still not sure on which gauge?

Paul,

How much are you willing to pay for a boost gauge ?

Check out these SPA Design Gauges not only are they probably the most similar design and lit gauge (if you get the red back lit one) but they use an electrical stepper motor so no flicking about, just a nice smooth, steady display and much more accurate.

The down side, they cost £130 !

What till you see what im going to be getting, will match the dials very very well

Hi Paul,

The best to match the original black dials is the Mocal boost gauge IMO.

It doesn't have a amber light though It's a clear one. But I'm thinking of opening the unit and replace the bulb for an amber look. I just don't know how to do it But if someone has the knowledge please come forward

I've got that one too Let me know if you find out how to change the light colour!

On my previous Coupe the Equus gauge came with a little "condom" which went over the bulb to change the illumination colour.

seriously, IMO, nothing beats Defi BF meters...
Take the Amber version... it blends really well...

might put the money towards an ebc... then i dont need a boost gauge
