Re: Kappa inlet on german Ebay - 12/07/2012 06:47

Its the best flowing factory inlet for the turbo versions of the Lampredi Twincam, and outflows a standard head a fair bit with some minor porting.
Its suposed to be bolt on with some minor grinding,

Re: Kappa inlet on german Ebay - 12/07/2012 06:54

It is not bolt on - take some cutting&welding, be prepared

Re: Kappa inlet on german Ebay - 12/07/2012 07:17

what exactly needs to be welded?

Re: Kappa inlet on german Ebay - 12/07/2012 08:59

Injectors catch on the lugs that the standard manifold braces are bolted to. Nice manifold though lacking a bit in internal sizes. The measured airflow is pretty good though the standard necks can be ported to beat it by a long way.

Thats what ive heard, need to grind down the lugs.
Cant see where i need welding though?

Re: Kappa inlet on german Ebay - 12/07/2012 19:04

for 300e?

toooooo expensive...:)

I have purchased one years ago for 50e, and few weeks ago whole kappa engine for 200e:) (and of course 2 engines from thema VIS with very simmilar intake manifold for 100e these engines are here for almost everybody recognized like scrap metal...)

+ cut two peaces on cilindar head where injector rail is held on coupe because on kappa rail is held on manifold, position of MAP sensor, coils, angle on induction pipe, position for idle control and position for acceleration cable needs to be modified
