Fuel pressure reg rising rate for evo chip a\\

I have brought one of the evo chips for my 16vt. Reccommendation is to get a 3 bar FPR but all the aftermarket ones seem to have different rising rates. Anywhere from 1:1 up to 1.8:1.

I assume I want a 1:1 as the chip is already mapped for more fuel and I was told that the 1.8:1 etc are to provide more fuel to people just running extra boost without a chip. Is this right?

Can someone confirm the rate I need.

Also what size lines does the coupe have? 8mm?

get your chip re-written etc as you would with a fuel pressure reg that increases at a rate of more than 1:1.

Just get a fuel pressure reg from a coupe 16v, coupe 20vt or a fiat tipo 3dr sedicivalvole

Cheers Begbie - but they are not available here other that FIAT dealerships at some stupid price. Would be cheaper (alot) to get an aftermarket performance one.

Will go down the factory route though if it's best.

Speak to barbz or find a scrapped coupe motor if possible. Second hand on wont cost much at all
