In my world it means "Battered Old Vehicle", usually applied to 20vt coupés tongue

Some of the BOV on ebay are to be fitted to normally aspirated cars to make them sound like they have a turbo and real dump valve.

In this instance BOV stands for Chav.

blow off valve aka dump valve (atmo or recirc, depending on car and/or setup)
