HP rating for Apexi - 15/08/2008 19:51
Hi folks!
I use Apexi Cone filter together with SIP. I saw that K&N has a BHP rating for the filters they sell.
http://www.filterpower.co.uk/universal/kn_round_clamp.htmDoes anyone know the HP rating for the Apexi?
Cheers
Freddan

not being funny but i have been in 650bhp skylines running these so shouldn't have to many problems unless you have a 2.4/2.5 conversion and even then i doubt your max it out. by the way its by far the best filter on the market

The RamAir JS-108 is what I use and is rated to 400BHP the Apexi is much smaller.

apexi flows much more than 400bhp and is a much better filter than ramair

This Apexi pod is commonly used on Evo's running around 400bhp so it should at least support that
Although there are different internal sizes - mine is a 80mm funnel
This tuner - stage 2 is 400bhp and uses this filter for exampleIf commercial tuners offer this on a 400bhp I would guess more than that, I have seen them often welded into twins on a single big turbo skyline at over 800bhp (T51R Kai) so I say 400bhp+ thats only a guess though

Thanks Saint for the link
So the rating for the Apexi is 400 bhp (maybe more).
