I'm sure that they could swap the housing for you, but it would be expensive, and I doubt you would notice that much of a gain in performance? \:\?

suba.. shouldn't Benny be getting more power / hold higher boost at the top end and get more lag on the low end with the 0.86 A/R housing?

If you can get hold of one it can be done by yourself. You'll loose around 400-500rpm spool but it will give you a little more top, end not that you really need it Benny. There are some cars that just seem to make a little more power than most for no obvious reasons, yours is one \:\)

yes - but it's not going to be a world of difference just changing the housing, and will require a remap etc....

in a little bigger turbos ( gt3071r ) the difference is :
spooling = 500rpm later for bigger one
power = 25-30hp more for bigger one.

thats what I´ve seen on that 3071r turbo..
so a little less hp difference with smaller turbo I
believe.

Larger housing will also give more power and torque at the same RPM. The more boost you run the more significant it will be. Its not only top end power.

I would personally go for a 2871R 0.64 over a 28RS 0.86!

that was exactly my choice

I'd seen GT28RS (0.86AR) hit 350bhp and even 370bhp, but I knew I wanted more than that AND I wanted full boost as early as I could, so a bigger compressor on a smaller turbine housing was the way to go

I think I'm fairly close to the limits of mine now (without more headwork), but its driveable, not too laggy and goes like stink at the top end
