I think a fair few people on here use Autometer gauges, including myself. I've not heard of any issues and mines just fine.
As for the seller though, thats your risk, I wouldn't.

Seller rating....25 negatives in one month. Too much of a mix match of stuff for sale, obviously he has to make a profit, but this is just "el cheapo" quick turnaround products.

Dont be fooled by this...if you look closely it is NOT an "autometer"...rather its a made in taiwan el cheapo rip-off actually branded as "autogauge":
