after changing my factory fitted radio for a pioneer thing with green and reed facia .... the radio reception is crap .... and i live in south manchester .... and its dire .... any recomendations for a arial that works

Fm reception? I know a few of the lads struggle with AM around town, but that's the radio not the external aerial.

it's supposed to be be "fixable" by cleaning up all associated connections at the amplifier unit isn't it?

Sweet, was going put a similar post up as the reception in mine is really bad at the mo, contemplated on changing the stereo

I fitted a stick on windscreen aerial with a built in booster

Stuck it up behind the mirror so you can hardly see it and the reception is perfect

Cheap as chips but effective
