Scorpion Alarm Fob not working - 29/10/2017 13:31
My 20vt is of the generation that has a Scorpion 918. I've recently put it back on the road, and the alarm still works, insofar as it ever did. So far, so good.
However, during my ownership the second fob has never worked. I've just changed the battery in the first fob, and buying 2 cost pennies more, so I changed the battery in both. This revealed that the second fob never had a battery, which might explain it.
It now has a battery. The light comes on when you press the button, which suggests its doing something. However, it does not operate the alarm. I bought this Coupe in 2011, so its a minimum of 6 1/2 years since it worked. Any ideas about how to fix this? Do I need to pair it up in some pre-bluetooth way?
