Clarion buttons are locked out

Hi all
The standard Clarion in my Coupe, is acting up.
None of the buttons except the on-off/selector are working on the facia unit.

Everything works fine with the remote though??

Have I pressed something to lock it out?

clean the contacts on the removeable face plate and the unit behind. Be gentle with them

which model of Clarion? I have a spare for the 7170

Mine's a ARX7370R, standard fit on a 1998 20vt, I think.

What kind of cleaner, bockers??, cd/ video tape cleaner?
Did you get the leaky cap sorted?

Yes thanks. Use a cotton bud to clean the contacts.
