Alarm Info

Yo brothers!

Iv looked around on here for info on my coupes alarm, but i cant find what im looking for...

So, my alarm fob is a black rectangle with 2 bottons at the top under a Fiat badge.
theres a thing on the left side,looks like a charger socket.
what is it?
theres an up/down switch on the right side, whats it for?
the right button iv been told is a panic button?
the left button locks and unlocks the car, but the indicators never flash, should they?
the light in the car comes on when locked with the fob, but if i lock with the key, when i get in the car and put it in the ignition theres a ticking noise from in the dash,what is it?
any info on the alarm would be helpful as iv never heard it go off, so im not sure if its working.

Iv noticed my alarm never sounds, turned the key under the bonnet and tried the panic button and it works.
only problem is it wont stop, how do i get it to stop after pressing the panic button?

It wont stop sounding so iv had to turn the key to "off" again
iv looked it up on here but cant find it
