I agree. Why is it impossible for an 8 year old car to have only 10,700 miles. I bought an Audi A3 a few years back, 5 years old with 7,900 on the clock. My mate Brian bought a 1996 Alfa GTV last year with 22,000 on the clock.
Low milers do exist!!!
Very true - A short while after buying my 38k mile Integrale (when it was 7 years old), I got to view one of similar age with just 1,900 miles recorded (mind you it was up for £9.5k more).
Still confused though that if the seller has owned it from new, then why they originally listed it on PistonHeads as a PLUS?
If they were not an "enthusiast" or expert and had bought it second-hand badly described then I suspose its possible to own it for years and then list it wrong (especially as the DVLA document normally just states 20VT and not PLUS/LE/Turbo 6 etc.)
But surely to have purchased new, then the original purchase price/receipt detail/brochure/extras etc etc surely would have given it away 10 years ago in the showroom that it wasn't a PLUS....... if PLUS's were indeed even for sale on a T plate..... Unless he got stung by the FIAT Dealer
......
Possibly a very nice, well maintained and cared for, exceedingly genuine low mileage Turbo 6 that someone will go to see, drive, inspect, love and purchase.
