Turbo plus price req

I'm going to look at a plus tomorrow just looking for a rough guide price here is what little info i have:
1998 s reg
59,000
fsh
all keys
belts due
good cond

Sounds a couple of years early for a Plus - just a 20VT I reckon and from what you've said it's probably worth about £3.5k.

Won't know til you see it I guess but the spec of a Plus is on here somewhere if you search for it.

Could be a Plus on a personalised plate but the bottom line is if it's only got five gears, no red stitching on steering wheel and seats, bog standard seats, no red calipers and a lack of skirts you'll know it's a standard 20VT.

How much is it up for?

if its a 1998 on 59,000 the belts shouldn`t be due, should have been done last year

Sounds fishy - wherever it is I'd say it's worth taking someone with you to see if everything adds up. May be an owner living nearby

Difficult to say if a car is/isn't good on a few details alone - and a second opinion from someone in the know when you go to look at it is a good idea.

Keep us posted. That sounds the sort of price a dealer would be asking for a 20VT. I reckon he's selling it as a Plus in the hope the buyer doesn't know the difference. Wouldn't be the first time.

My guess is its not a plus, although S regs do exist, but if it were a plus he would say in the ad. I agree with Roly hes either trying to pull a fast one or is just not sure what he has.

I'm pretty sure no S reg Plus models were made. There are a couple of T reg ones around, dealer demo cars I assume as the Plus didn't come out until August 99, V plate.
