Classic Car Policy? - 15/06/2006 04:25
Hi All
Can you get the coupe on a classic car insurance policy. I had my G reg fiat X1-9 on one. Just wondering if anyone has tried?
Cheers

I think most insurance companies want the car to be at least 15 years old.
Had similar trouble with TVR's, luckily I can only afford rusty sheds from the 80's!

It's normally at 10 years of age that cars can be insured on classic policies, so some of the early Coops should therefore qualify, I was asking this same question about Integrales some time ago.

Mine is insured as a 'specialist classic car' through lancaster insurance, iam on a limited milage policy of 7K per annum but i only pay just under £500 per year whcih for me isnt bad.
