Like for like curtosy car??? what have you had?

Just a basic rant about insurance companies.....

I recently sent £1500 on MOT services and the little odd jobs my 20VT has needed. Ater 4.5 weeks in the garage i got my baby home running great and a big smile on my face.....

That was until some compleate numpty decided to rear end me at a set of lights.....

My insurance company have always said a like for like car would be offered as a replacement for no fault claims.........

now for the rant!!!

according to the powers that be my group 20 220hp 2 door sports coupe like for like comes out as a "upto 2 litre" 4 door family euro box with an insurance group of 12 14 with maybe 140hp if im lucky to get an Sri or equivalent spec.....

im raging inside as ive always paid a premium for the better service if needed and im not getting it .....

anyone have any simialar experiences?

sounds like you got a better deal ... they wont even confirm what car wil be delivered..... from my point of view the 3 year old 2.5l Audi TT is the closest spec to a 20VT without going over board ......
