Who ya gonna call?

Renewing my insurance at the mo - it's a 20vt[6]. I'm in a suburb of Leeds, 38 and I always get a loading for my occupation - radio presenter. Bizarrely they think I'm driving Kylie Minogue, Madonna and Rolf Harris around, all at the same time. That's why I get the loading. Anyway:

The renewal is with Tesco for £850.

Confused dot com arent doing any better than that.

Noel Dazely is £795.

Best quote so far is Privelege at £560.

Who am I gonna call to get a better quote than that? The car would be garaged and I'm planning on doing about 6,000 m a year(train to work).

Bell direct, www.bell.co.uk

if they aren't cheaper then not many others will be, they rate the coupe fairly low.

on the bell quote, make sure you hit "yes" to the q if you drive other vehicles.

And also add an older woman as a named driver (your mum possibly) as both of these takes the quote down somewhat. Still wont be in the 500s though, possibly in the 700 range maybe.

My coupe is unmodded as well. I tried Greenlight and they were in the £600s.

Any more suggestions?

Need to get it down as much as I can 'cos I want to treat it to news tyres soon as well.
