My mate (who's currently welding up my 156) broke a 1.8 and a Ts years ago.
He's only got prop donuts left now.

You could try giving my ex boss a ring at Allitalia Ltd

He used to have stuff lying around for 75's, 33's, etc and may still have stuff stashed away.

He doesn't mind shipping abroad neither. Might be worth ringing him if you're stuck for parts. If you ring, ask to speak to Howard smile

I had one just like that ..the 2.5 v6 auto with the front spoiler ..which I kept cracking every time I parked it near a kerb ..self levelling rear suspension and that great engine and I think Revolution wheels.....I loved it..It got written off by some drunken sod one Friday afternoon parked by the side of the road...I still curse him.

It was AROC Spring Alfa day at Beaulieu today. I didn't go, a bit too far, but lots of photos on FB.

Not many 75s turning up nowadays, but even fewer 155s!!

My 75 is in pretty good order, so must take it out somewhere this year.

I have some difficulty with the fuel tank. I wonder if it is possible to change it to a plastic or an alu tank.

What do you think?

Re: Parts for Alfa 75 - 25/05/2016 10:11

Yes - of course it is. The chances are that a racing tank will use up some of your boot space. There are a few 75 racers about - you could ask them what they use but likelihood is that it's a generic one bolted into the boot. Take a look at DemonTweeks.com for starters. Depending upon your system, you might need a return leg. Another issue will be a sender so you know the level. Again, they are available, but will probably need a new gauge.

Overall, it's probably an expensive solution versus getting a tank repaired or glass-lined.

Thanks for your quick respons. smile

What do you mean by glass-lined?

Re: Parts for Alfa 75 - 25/05/2016 10:53

Kits to line the original tank with something like fibreglass or some other coating.

Managed to sort an original fuel tank!! smile
Couldn't find any in Sweden. A guy in Denmark had a decent second hand unit with only two rust holes. Grabbed it for 1000 SEK = £88 (shipping included). Bargain??

Next on the agenda is to fix the tank and install it, new oil (10w40) + oil filter and some fresh gasoline and try to start the engine (it has been standing for 3 years frown ).
