The 100 Most Beautiful Cars - 05/05/2017 18:07

There are some absolute stunning cars chosen for this line up; both old and new.

I think the Alfa Romeo T33 Stradale takes some beating.....totally does it for me, as does the 1952 C-Type and XK120, 8C's, Gallardo; there are many others too but not the Capri! My next door neighbour has his car at the No1 spot up for sale at the moment for circa £220K shocked

PS the Coupe ain't in there.

These lists usually provoke a something of a debate (argument) and I guess this will be no different. Obviously it's an "eye of the beholder" thing but I really do struggle with the 2001 Mini Cooper and 2012 Range Rover being higher up the list than the Aston Martin V8 Vantage laugh

But apart from that.. tongue

Many of the modern stuff is difficult to describe as beautiful and some of the older stuff is more "famous" than actual design successes. Plus this stuff is very personal. Nice to see some of my favourites getting a mention (Type-35 and xk120).

I guess as Lucifer has said much is in the 'eye of the beholder'; there are some glaring admissions and I don't read the list as a countdown to ultimate beauty just a catalogue of some beautiful looking cars.

There's not even one Japanese car on that list.

Ferrari 288 WTF?

Obviously pleased to see the Giulia there but it's a bizarre list.

240Z was a decent looking thing and what about the Lexus LFA?

240Z, but not the 260 or later. And what was that Toyota open-top car in You Only Live Twice? 2000GT. Okay from the side, not too hot from the front...

This could have been one of the most beautiful Japanese cars ever.

Anyone else think it kind of has a hint of the Coop around the boot and rear bumper area? It's that similar kind of Kamm tail. Pause it around the 57 and 58 second marks. confused

I would second the LFA, I think they look great. I also think the 350z looks good, though wasn't too fussed about the 370. Nissan GTR looks a beast, but not what I'd call 'beautiful'.

Yes definitely looks like a Bangle inspired rear end; I like the round lights on a horizontal plane and think the Coupe would of looked better than stacked.
