Do I get points for any team using the engine I've selected?

EG. If I chose the Renault engine and a race finished...

I've read through the rules but it doesn't seem that clear.

I've never analysed my points, but I'd assumed that my choice of a Mercedes engine would count in any team. Having said that I'm sure there is some control to ensure fairness across the league.

Imagine how happy I was the year McLaren were docked all their points, I had a McLaren/Mercedes platform and ff1 took their points away in the league..

You only get points once for each thing you choose (drives, chassis, engine), so you just get points for the one that finished highest.

Well at Skinflint Flyers we are very much focussing on next year. This year was always going to be more about developing the car and the team and we've been making excellent progress

We're a team on the move...the direction is yet to be settled however.

Our team principle would be much more decisive dealing with the Perez issue. A chauffeur driven trip through a Paris tunnel, followed by a more stringent recruiting process.

Raikonen's poor form and disappearance and end of season put paid to any hopes of me holding onto the lead

Grosjean's failure put mrs Lego back on the bottom

I think we need to find a better Fantasy F1 for next season - something that has a bit more interaction and the ability to change things during season. This league was nearly as boring as the real thing

Having Perez in my team did not help, Kimi giving up with two races left wasn't the best news either.

Perez I've written to McLaren and advised them to get rid, he was a liability for them, and for Team Roadkings. Given their performance this year I feel I'm as well qualified as anyone to advise them.

Are we doing this again this season? Or is it too early yet?

Having runthe league last year I should get an email to let me know when it goes live. I'll let you know, I'm happy to admin it again. One change I think would be to allow 2 teams per member?
