New Years resolutions

New Years resolutions - 30/12/2011 22:09

After a crappy 2011 I've set myself the following goals,

Loose at least a stone in weight.

Cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End (to loose the weight and raise some money for Misothelioma cancer research).

Run a half marathon.

Visit our friends in Australia

I'm sure there will be others but these are my main goals, anyone else got any plans?

Get back on a motorcycle after a 2+ year break

Lose more weight than this year, a pitiful 4lb.

Learn Polish - 200 people who work under me speak it, so should I.

Other than my main objectives for 2012 my resolutions are:

Be more social, i want to be able to go out once a week.

Go on more dates! I'm going to set myself a goal of 20 dates for the year. Whether these are with 20 different women, we shall see! (how bad must i be at dating for that to happen!)

More 'life' threads, minus the photos! I value the opinions of the people on the forum, i think we just need to work on their delivery sometimes smile

Do something for charity. I never do fund raising things (sponsoring) for fear of failure. I plan to do at least 1 thing that requires me to raise money for charity.

Continue to work out.

New years resolutions...

1. Stop smoking, for good this time.

2. Drink more, that should sort out the nicotine cravings...

3. Lose a stone in weight

4. Move house

5. Buy an Alfa GTV V6

6. Have a sordid affair with Jeremy Clarkson

Spend more time with my daughter - I have spent too much of her 7 years working away from home. I now have a chance of a UK based job which although will mean around a 50% paycut, I think it will be worth it.
