Bank Holidays

Am I correcting thinking that 4th June and 5th June are both bank holidays this year?

And why do banks get extra holidays, why don't we have a Mechanics Holiday or Chefs Holiday!!

Dont get me started, I worked as a bank cashier for 5 years. Did I ever get a tip from any of the customers ? Like I did.

Did customers ever say "Thank you for cashing that £10,000 cheque for me, here's £50 for your trouble".

No, No, No... but it would have been a different story if I worked in Restaurant or drove a taxi.

Booked off three days already for a good 9 day stretch out of work!

Aha thanks! I think I did similar this year for the Royal Wedding. Booked off 3 days and got something like 11 off.

And my boss has just approved 6th 7th and 8th off! He probably doesn't realise it's a short week
