Not a great Gladys Emmanuel imho. Lynda Baron was much better in the role.

The rally bentley was good, as was damien lewis. Half the prog on that P45 thing was utter ballsack!

Tbh I enjoyed it as program's like fifth gear are a bit repetitive.

Top gear adds a good sense of humour,albeit random, to what is traditionally a boring subject.

Kept me watching and laughing like a girl for an hour.
Zonda is such a good car.
Individual,innovative and one larey way of spending a big chunk of money.

Poor start to new series. P45 segment was utterly boring and predictable.

Waiting for it on iPlayer. God knows how long it will take to get on there. Sounds like I didn't miss too much tbh!

I enjoyed it apart from the p45 bit, it went on for too long.

agreed, it started well with the Pagani, and quite enjoyed the rallying Bentley, but the P45 bit was predictable and overly long....

I'd actually quite like to see some 'normal' car reviews...

Man Time !! literally, the second Top Gear started lastnight the missus disappeared

I sit through hours of her stuff, Vampire Diaries, Biggest Looser, Beauty & the Beast, Revenge....yet a 1hour prog once an week and she vanishes!

Gota love them though....

I enjoyed it, but perhaps it was just because it was a new episode and not one repeated on Dave that I've watched 20 times already.

That Pagani was rapid! Too quiet though.

An excellenr (although unsubtle) man day. Curry for lunch, Arnie at the movies in the afternoon and Top Gear in the evening. All topped off with a couple of beers and Chris Hoy's documentary about Colin McRae.

The documentary about Colin McRae was fantastic.

I've stopped thinking when I watch Top Gear and just try to enjoy it for what it is.

I admit that the P45 segment was far too long (or probably could have done with being left out altogether) although I did laugh at some of the one liners during the Dragons Den part.

I wanted to see the estate special, hopefully that one is next weeks

I do think the estate one will be one of the better episodes. I always like the expedition type ones.

I watched it on the train this morning and had to stifle my ridiculous laughter, especially when JC said he had his 'weave on' in the P45 on the motorway! (And also Damian Lewis' crossing of the finish line!)
Very enjoyable, but maybe anything is better than getting the train into London?
Got quite excited at the clip of the Clio, unless it was something else?!

The i dont know if anyone caught them but the previous driving legends were also pretty good.

I know it was McCraes nature but so many missed opportunities missed is such a shame. Hes already a legend but i do wonder if he woudl be even more so if he had compromised just a little and won more titles. I guess at least he was true to himself till the very sad end.

Its still a good magazine show, its not TG of the 90's but then its not supposed to be thats what 5th gear is for. Top gear is loose women man style!

Just watched it on catch up and really enjoyed it. Still predictable but seemed funnier than the last series, so I'm happy.

Yeah the road trip ones are awesome.

And the repeats on Dave are the only reason I have a tv licence .

I had a Corrado VR6 for a year and it was utterly soulless.

I also note the Audi 80 makes it in twice ... it wasn't that good.

I don't feel the soul in any of that metal although I did like the corrado but probably because I never owned one.
If it was anything like my vr6 golf then oh dear.

I did own the Audi coupe though.
2.2 NA 5 pot engine.was one of my favourites and looked great .
Cost me £500 to buy which in them days was alot of money.

XPD 900Y was the reg and it was in black.The first nice driving car I ever owned that was big enough to allow a 6"2 male to stretch ones legs in comfort.
