Not big or clever and it's just a matter of time before he kills someone.

Blimey, he seems to be suffering from being a complete tool.

I thought it was standard driving for a bm owner?

Yup, he does seem to be a f**king knobber of the highest order.
Also, what kind of sh*te tyres is he running - there are 85 year old prostitutes with more grip than that.

Is it me or is there something fishy with the camera work? Looks fake to me.
Look at say 1:20 why is the roof, a pillars and b pillars distorting out of shape? Strange.

I'm thinking that too. Some camera trickery definitely involved with that vid.

Please gentlemen.....!!!
1) Why are there cameras at the side of the road?
2) Why is there a passenger for only half the time?
Great entertainment, but Warner Brothers realism

Vibration in the camera beating with the image scan and/or image stabilisation system. It makes the image appear to pulse.
It completely fails to hide the dickhead in the car.

Re: just popping down to the shops - 04/04/2013 19:37
It was obviously well staged with cameras being positioned etc but it would appear someone has been playing too much GTA....
It's a shame he didn't meet someone with a similar driving style coming the other way, at least that would have shown him what a complete and utter lady part he is!

Yes ok he was driving like a complete idiot, however, he has a large amount of skill in the matter, I bet all of this was because he forgot to buy milk so he had to pop to the shops whilst the kettle was on the stove
idiot with good driving skills!

There's a time and a place to drive like this and public roads it isn't no matter what country you're in
Nutter!

He's lucky the traffic saw him.
Hopefully that's just a one off for the camera and not a daily habit.

There is a part 2. Unfortunately it's not the ending we all desire it to be.

Maybe the youth are only the ones to see any virtue. Like that frequency you can't hear when you get to my age.

What a dick
5% skill and 95% pure luck imo.

Re: just popping down to the shops - 06/04/2013 06:50
I'm not sure I'd put the ability to duck out of the way of oncoming traffic a skill, given the risk that it has placed both the oncoming and the adjacent traffic into - as well as the risk to the car itself.
The acme of driving skill on the road is to observe the traffic laws, to drive within the the capabilities of the driver and vehicle, to drive within the road conditions, and most of all to drive in a way that requires other drivers never having to adjust their speed or course.
I've said it before - it's perhaps a disease of age - but taking a car anywhere near its physical limits on a public road is:
- stupid, given the lack of run-off areas and crash barriers on the majority of roads;
- antisocial, given the presence of other drivers, who may not even be visible to you when you start this sort of manoeuvre and of whose abilities you are unaware - is that granny returning from the shops, harassed mother with a car full of kids, or some other hormone laden idiot on the wrong side of the road?
- illegal in many cases, given that the abilities of modern cars are such that the limits are so far above the legal speed limits;
- foolish given the presence of speed cameras and police - believe me, they know the 'fun' roads too.
If you want to drive quickly, corner with the tyres screeching, and brake so hard the pads smoke, get on a track. On the road, it's evolution in action and I don't care for me or mine being collateral damage.
On the road, it's not big and it's not clever.

It's all down to time and place, that was nor the time nor place to drive like that. As another Russian might say - simples.

Re: just popping down to the shops - 06/04/2013 23:47
I drive at normal speeds in a normal fashion and always hit a pothole , do they not have potholes in that part of Russia.
Drivers a knob, lucky he didn't kill anyone

I'm not convinced this is genuine. Seems to be genuine "illegal street racing" in much the same way Fast & Furious is a genuine driving movie, with fantastic acting & production values...

No. There is *no* time or place where driving *like that* is acceptable.
On a race track, everything is going the same way and at similar speeds, and follows the rules.
On a film set, it's done under controlled conditions.
On an open road, it's potentially lethal.

As an oxymoron that statement rules! No time or place - except on a race track hmmm
Not like you to slip up like that!
You can't possibly justify tosserism (New word there?) like that at any time on a public road.
If it's staged, it is staged very well!

Re: just popping down to the shops - 07/04/2013 21:34
Nah, no tautology or oxymoron there. My point was that driving like *that* necessarily includes the uninformed and unsuspecting members of the public on a public road.
On the track, or on a film set, you're driving to a completely different set of conditions... not like *that*.

You really can't blame them for trying. How many reality TV programmes give even a one minute wonder a few quid in their pocket.
As long as it keeps them out of my bins looking for metal, or actually taking the bin I'm all for it.
