iPad screen replacement...

So, after a couple of years of ownership I can confirm dropping an iPad on concrete at such an angle the corner hits the ground first will cause the glass to small.

Can anyone recommend a screen replacement service as Apple want £256.00 to sawp it for a recon unit.

It's an 4G iPad 3 if it makes a difference

1. Use Apple
2. Do it yourself, and the 4G bit makes it a bit tougher. Have a look on YouTube for tutorials.
3. Use Apple

DO NOT be tempted to post it to many of the places offering this service without a LOT or research Most are back street bodge it and scarper merchants

another option could be buy a refurbed one and sell yours broken on ebay.... not sure what they sell for but could be worth investigating?

Looking on the 'bay' it would be cheaper to do the Apple referb.

Think I'll stick with the guys up the road, called them and they sound very professional and I know where it is if they play silly buggers
