How dumb. It will be like rugby line out calls or American football moves. If there is communication then you can say all sorts with a simple word.

If I remember correctly when Hamiltons car went up in flames during qualifying he was unable to stop and asked the pits what to do. Are they not going to allow that either?

Are there really people that think that?

If so, why aren't they writing to the F1 teams offering their services as a 'puppet driver'? I'd do it for half of what any of them earn.
