Yes, it's a number, but what are the mobile network like in general? My 24 month contract is running out in a couple of days, so am looking at a SIM only contract as they have some good deals on data usage. I'm with Orange / EE and their monthly tariffs aren't that appealing in comparison with other operators.

Thanks smile

3 is really good in big towns and not too bad around where i used to roam during the day!

I was with 3 now with EE4G believing they were the best network and i must say im fairly dissapointed and am certain 3 was better?

But obviously where you use it could be totally different!

There packages are fantastic value for money and i will certainly be back there when my contract runs out! unless i cant resist something new and shiny which led me to EE in the first place! lol

Been with three for at least 8 years now and would never go elsewhere.

Prices are much better than the competitors and you generally get more for your money.

Only a few times have I had reception issues and they have generally been somewhere where no one can get reception.

My contract runs out this month and I shall be going sim only with them as have absolutely no need to upgrade my Note 2 to anything else at the moment.

Been with Three for a few years now, I've been impressed.

I get good reception everywhere I visit frequently and their tarriffs are very good value IMO.

They also have some nice perks which I like.

They have an App which boosts mobile signal via wifi. IE. If you're in an area with poor reception (like my flat - Victorian build, big thick walls) it'll flick to using available wifi to improve the signal strength.

They also have something called 'feel at home' which lets you use your allowances (minutes, texts and data) in loads of other countries for absolutely nothing.

It's incredibly handy for navigating your way around a country without paying ridiculous roaming charges.

Vodafone have a red deal at the moment. 12 month SIM only for£16.50 which includes 1gb data unlimited texts and calls. Ask this and 4g, and their 4g coverage is very good.

I have vodamoan for my work phone and thought it was ok at best.

I then got a personal phone from three and it kicks Vodamoans butt in every single instance. I carry both everywhere and three gets better data reception and better signal reception everywhere I've been.

It really does show up how poor Vodamoan is.

I moved all 4 of my contracts from orange to 3 four years ago purly because they had some very cheap deals. I have never had a problem with 3 customer service and network coverage is brilliant.

All very surprising to hear, seems 3 have bucked up their ideas over the years smile

Indeed. It does friend where you live though. When we went to north Wales Vodafone reception was truly awful.

Little known fact that three are able to roam on the old orange network. I work for EE and Three in deployment and both are pouring massive amounts of money into the network.

Reception isn't very good on all networks around most of North Wales.

I was with Vodafone for for a couple of years and got sick of seeing a full signal symbol, yet nobody could call me. I'd have a text telling me I'd missed a call, even when I tried it with the caller sitting next to me!

I moved to O2, which has steadily got worse over the years, so gave up with contracts and went with Tesco Mobile for just over a year. Never had a problem with Tesco, even though they piggy back off O2.

Then my phone broke and I decided I wanted the iPhone 5, so went back on contract with O2. Worse thing I ever did. Between their lack of signal and shite advertising, I can't wait to leave when my contract is up in December.

The signal is poor on all networks in my area and has been for a long time and the excuse is always that there's a mast that's broken rolleyes

Someone has now set up a petition to get the masts and signal sorted.

I'm going back to a monthly sim contract in December and I too have also been looking at the 3 network as they seem to have the least complaints around here.
