We are looking at freeing up some capital from our house and would like advice about how best to go about it. Is there a good way to pick an independent financial adviser (given that we don't know any or anyone recommending one around our area)?
At work I have access to a company called Pink Dot I think, Jim. I spoke to them last week and was quite impressed.
I spoke to a director called Fraser Tilley - they are based at Badbury. You could say I passed on his details.

Our guy probably won't travel that far but I'll see if he knows anyone.
Best advice is to go for an independent person who has access to the whole of the market.

Well, I'd be delighted to have a chat with either of you! What is the best way to reach you adder/Alder!? I dropped you a PM yesterday, but if another way is better, I'm happy to oblige...
