Yes it was special.
My beloved Ireland are making hard work of it all. The Ireland supporters forums are going ballistic with ridiculous comments.

Wales to win the six nations but a grand slam? Well they have to over come some injuries and opposition. Allthough I'm happy if they get the slam.
They are my second team and are the only true rugby nation in the northern hemisphere. There is only one other nation in the world like that.

There’s a Welsh ld in my office that is *very* proud! To be fair to him he offered Welsh commiseration cakes to the whole of the department!

I think a nation with 3 million people beating their big brother with 55 million is worthy of a cake! wink

I do tip Ireland to beat Wales, even though at Cardiff, thus throwing everything wide open! crazy

Yes it's possible but I think it's a big ask for Ireland at the moment due to playing like a disjointed load of individuals instead of the machine they have been a very short time ago.

If Ireland do win, well I think we know the team that's going to gain most from that.

Italy have thier tails up now, which is good for them with the World Cup not to far away.

And of course we now have the added curse of a possibility of a world league around the corner. It seems at the moment some high profile players are against it mind.

Watching international games could be a thing of the past for me now due to many factors. Allthough I'm looking forward to France 2023 World Cup as there will be some games again in Bordeaux and maybe La Rochelle. Both local for me.

I certainly enjoyed France 2007, attending different games at Marseilles, St Ettiene and Toulouse.
My mates and I hired a Citroen C4 for driving from our chosen rural base.
Would be very happy to do the same again, flying down to Marseilles, hiring a French car and perhaps getting to visit different venues.
