Garden multi tools - 22/06/2019 18:14
I know we are all too busy with the coop to worry about the garden, which probably explains why mine is bit of jungle. I've tried three of the above (4,5,6 or even 7 gadgets on one shaft/engine) without much success, they seem to be poor quality Chinese manufacture under numerous different brand names, has anyone got one they would recommend?

100% stihl
Whilst not at the same build quality as they used to be (built in obsolescence plus high parts cost) they are still the best.
I am a contractor running a fleet of machines.
We bought a couple of these cheap and cheerful full-sets as contingency/emergencies after a massive theft.
Thrown in back of the container after a week of hell with them - built of cheese - and downright dangerous one of them.
You'd be better buying well used stihl than new rubbish. Easy to repair etc. Only real bugbear of mine is the shaft connector has some pins acting as a keyway which are impossible to replace when they snap. And the bevel gears in the 0-135 degree hedge trimmer are ludicruously expensive.....
