How remote can you get a coupe?

Found this one on Skye yesterday - looked like it hadn't been moved for a while, green and furry on the boot and I think the tyres were flat, but at least it was shaded from the atlantic gales by being on the downwind side of the house

It's an N-reg (I think) 16VT. I knew of another 16VT on Skye, near my mother's place, but I don't think this is it.

Still very much cared for and running well in spite of being two ferries' worth from the mainland

Until a couple of years ago there was also an inky 20vt in Tankerness, Orkney, but sadly a non-runner for many years and ended up being a very useful donor car in some respects for our project down here.

Owner is a lovely chap who was down at the Darlington Northern Italian Car Rally with his dad recently - we met them on their journey down (he's in an Alfa now) and treated them to tea

Apart from that I can only imagine it's jimboy and his sprinty a tad north of Inverness....

Makes me feel like a southerner...

Neil, when I saw the title of this thread I thought that you had created a transmitter that allowed you to control your Coop like an RC car and that you were referring to it's range.

Mine's nearly 11,000 miles from the UK. You're all northerners.

And mine and Boosted 7's are almost as far!

When I had a new radio in mine it came with a remote, the remote was usually further away than the radio!

The Island of Reunion, French army lad was stationed there with his Coupé which he had it flow over on a transporter.

Irrespective of distance, I don't know of any that live at the end of such a coupe-unfriendly road.

Though to be fair, I did regularly take mine off road on farm tracks/fields when paragliding...

Indeed Neil. I’m very familiar with Skye and as you say it’s not a car, giving it’s rarity these days to come across where you saw it. When I’m out and about in the Coop up here the last car I would expect to see is another Coop.
