Vignale paintcode research - 04/02/2021 09:44
We've had a request in the club email as follows: can anyone throw some light?
I'm hoping you may be able to help?
I am currently restoring a 1968 Fiat Vignale Eveline and now the welding is almost complete it is to get a respray. I would like to keep it an original colour but I am unable to find any records of the original paint codes for the Vignale Evelines? Would you be able to advise? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Although they don't list that model, perhaps these people may be able to help him

Alternatively, try a restoration company like Thornley Kelham (Lancia specialist) in South Cerney, Gloucestershire

Fiats of that vintage often had a paint code at the bottom of the chassis plate, like the example shown

The chassis plate seen on this website
https://www.artcurial.com/sites/def...10-11/3887_10644032_17.jpg?itok=PzDv9Rvg for an Eveline does not have the extra bit for colour code. There are several pictures on the web of various Evelines in different colours, all claiming to be original colours, but none look to be Fiat 124 colours (at least not the 124 AC Coupe, as far as I remember).
