Had that setup on my 1st coupe after removing the eibach lowering springs, was a good combo, better than with the standard dampers.

Yes. I like this setup. Not a hard ride, but firm enough. Very comfortable.

This thread gives an excellent review of a number of suspension types and he ends up deciding for him he best option is Bilsteins and standard springs.

Gunzi,

Good thread, though its March 2006 and things - including Bilstein availability, has moved on unfortunately

I’m hijacking this thread a bit. Does anyone know a modern alternative to the Bilstein/standard spring set up? As the front Bilsteins are no longer available

My office has moved and i now drive daily down some very rough B roads and the coop struggles. I need to find a more compliant road set-up. Any suggestions/advice? Thanks.
