Lowering springs

Thinking of changing my springs on my 20VT,

FK Springs do a set and drop 40mm rear and 35mm front. Is there a reason for droping the rear more??

The Eibach kit drops the rear 35mm and the front 20mm to get the car sitting level, looks like FK have done the same and a little bit more.
Remove the rear bumpstops and cut the front ones in half if you fit those springs.
