Just noticed these tyres on the Camskill site.
I know they had a good write up in AutoItalia (well they would do as their Italian), anyone used them yet?

Falken 452s get a really good press and they are a great price.

I had the Marangoni Zeta tyres on my 20vt coupe,abiet 225/45/16.

I only took my coupe out in the dry to be fair,were good tyres.Felt good,good grip,smooth journey,wore well(i did 10k with loads to go).No more road noise over the what wsa on the car.

I'm on my 2nd or 3rd set, they were starting to get hard to find (I had ordered them from mytyres but they weren't listed a month or two back) and I had to get them delivered to a back street garage to get them fitted, not impressed (weights have started corroding \:mad\: ) but camskill should give a good price £60-70 maybe and then I can use Bracknell Tyres as always

IMO The Falken FK-452 are better than the Toyo's. (and cheaper)

I would have got 452's last time but only needed 2 (had not been watching the tyre wear, I normally switch F-R to equalise wear then replace all 4) so went for Zeta's to match, what price are they vs. 452 at Camskill? (can't be bothered to check rolleyes )

I am not sure what the Falkens are at Camskill, but they are around £80 each at black circles, and that includes fitting.

I use toyo proxies on mine and I think they are great hardly wheelspin and can brake really hard in the wet.

I dont think when you live in GB you should be concerned wuth dry wether performance!

I have Toyo T1-R on the rear and they are not good in the wet compared to the Dunlop SP9000 i have on the front, which are superb. Wouldnt buy Toyo's.

I had T1-R's on my Nissan 200sx, and I think they are pretty average in the wet too.

Good for tail out antics though on that car. laugh

The Falkens are pretty good in the wet IMO. Certainly better than the Toyo's.

I Also like Goodyear Eagle F1's but they are expensive.

Settled on Toyo's from Micheldever in the end, they matched Camskill's delivery price of £264

Out of T1-R, 452 and Zeta Linea the Zeta's are better looking IMHO tongue and I will get them again next time - from Camskill!

Thats strange as I had them on the front and couldn't accelerate around corners without lighting up the wheels!

i have found the toyos superb and they come highly reccomended on the lancia owners club forum???!(not a dig:) )
