Another Bravo 20VT! - 06/12/2011 19:54

Hi all.
Finally I decided to make a theme for my old project – Bravo 20VT!
Because of high tariffs and excise taxes in my country (to 2010), was impossible for me to buy Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo from another country, and in May 2009 conversion started:

Engine complete with gearbox, ECU+immo box+red key and front suspension with Brembo calipers.

In early June 2009, work began with mounting of the "new" engine.

Several months looking for missing parts (some of them never found), and I put some parts from other Fiat models.
Bravo was completely ready for the road on 13.10.2009 (I will never forget this date).

Everything was fine, and started with minor upgrades:
1. Wheels - purchased by Joe78 click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge and then refreshed click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge .
2. New tires - Yokohama Parada Spec-2 click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge
3. Painted the cam cover and polished ignition coils cover

I was very happy with what I did, but then ........ this belt ........ and end of everything.

I started slow and difficult repair of the engine.
I have no money, no time, and parts are hard to find.
Cylinder head was repaired, bought a new bearings, piston rings and assembly bottom of the engine.

Then came another trouble:
Someone crashed into my car.

This has ruined me. I could not do anything until mid-November 2010.
Then I bought the bonnet and stopped work on Bravo.

THE REASON.
In the middle of August 2011, work began again.

November 2011:
The car is almost assembled and fitted winter tires.

December 2011:
Engine now works after more than a year and a half.
Currently the front of the car is ready for painting and remains only to change the windscreen.

A few days ago, Bravo started smoke a lot!
The reason for smoking is known to all of us - a broken turbo frown

I bought this turbocharger(brand new) some time ago and mileage until yesterday is only 3,000 km.
On one of the previous photos you can see this turbo before installation.
