It says 101db static, is that correct? Bedford is usually a drive by noice limit isn't it?

101db static, 87.5db drive by.

Re: Bedford Autodrome - 11/10/2012 18:58
My 16VT passes ok with a cat back exhaust on it, decat wont pass.

Re: Bedford Autodrome - 11/10/2012 20:10
last time i tried to spectate an event they tried to turn me away - how have we got this covered, if at all this time?

Really? Decat and you're out? FFS, if this is the case then it rules me out as I got 3" straight through exhaust

Re: Bedford Autodrome - 11/10/2012 23:37
Some times the organisers are lenient but they have clamped down on this recently.
Usually the earlier sessions see the most casualties from noise.
Posted By: Anonymous
Re: Bedford Autodrome - 12/10/2012 17:49
No chance with a decat at Bedford I would say, they are very strict because of the local council. Other tracks are more lenient.
Posted By: MCMike
Re: Bedford Autodrome - 12/10/2012 17:53
I went there years ago in my standard sprint blue and the 1st thing they did was static readings on all the cars.
Posted By: Anonymous
Re: Bedford Autodrome - 12/10/2012 18:05
Don't think I'll bother to come and watch then. They probably won't let me into the car park.... just checked my Honda mower, and the dB level is 96. So I couldn't push my mower round the track, even though it is more likely to get round than a few Coupes
Have a quiet day,
Tim

Re: Bedford Autodrome - 23/10/2012 10:12
sounds irresistibly welcoming...tuned exhaust and you are banned and have to trespass to watch...
Posted By: Anonymous
Re: Bedford Autodrome - 23/10/2012 11:33
You are allowed to watch, not sure where thats come from. Plenty of people watch.
Bedford isnt a legal 'track' as such, they have to comply with R&R around sound levels due to the local council running the show, hence the low levels.
My 16VT has a SS cat back with the cat in place and it passes ok.
