Destruction derby challenge

This ones a bit different as it doesn't involve a coupe.

But it does involve departing with £200 and a days full of highly entertaining Motorsport .

The challenge is
Buy a car for £150 or less
Must be taxed and tested

Meet in a field that has been offered to me locally and its last man standing.

Whoever does the most laps wins .

Strictly no contact laugh

Need 10 participants to make it £50 each.

For the cost of a normal track day and you can weigh them in for £100 at the end of it.

How do you get home?

How do you get them out of the field?

Sounds like good spectator fun to me laugh

Leave them in the field,I know a good scrap man who will sort that.

Drive them there and bring another driver to drive your own car.
Simples

As dlt said ,its one hell of a laugh.

Sounds bloody interesting. Is weighting in guaranteed? laugh

If I manage to convince my missus to help me out i.e. being another driver then I am a maybe...

I got this thought in my head... buy it in the evening before the event, insure it for 24hrs @ £25, drive it to the track and then destroy it woohoo

Guaranteed weigh in
Depends on the barge you buy but usually its £100 per tonne and 70% of that is a real figure considering panels will be lost.

Personally I'm going for some rwd heavy Japanese tart.

I think being in the motor trade is quite an advantage for something like this. To even things up maybe all the cars go into a pool and JBT gets last choice!!

I'm well up for it if I can find a car. Sounds like a right summer bbq occasion or something.
